Overnight on January 21, Russian forces carried out a massive drone attack on southern Odessa.
Residential and industrial infrastructure was damaged, and one man was injured, the Head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration Oleg Kiper reports.
“In the Odessa district, private residential houses were damaged and destroyed. A warehouse containing furniture products was destroyed,” the statement said. Fires broke out at the attack sites but were extinguished by emergency responders. The regional head added that a 50-year-old man sustained a leg injury and was hospitalized.
The Odesa Regional State Emergency Service reported that two private houses caught fire, with neighboring houses also damaged. A fire also broke out at the destroyed furniture warehouse.
