Russian strikes hit multiple Ukrainian regions, causing deaths and damage

Chernihiv region

In the Chernihiv region, from 8:00 a.m. on September 6 to 8:00 a.m. on September 7, two people were killed and three were injured, according to the head of the Chernihiv Regional Military Administration, Viacheslav Chaus.

“Two women were killed by the Russians in Semenivka. During the day, a drone struck a local resident. At night, a Russian ‘Shahed’ hit a house, and a woman died under the rubble,” the report says.

Regarding the injured, Chaus noted that a 45-year-old woman from Horodnia is in the regional hospital after being hit by a drone. A 58-year-old man from the border village of Novhorod-Siverska community and a 67-year-old from Semenivka were also hospitalized. Overall, Russian forces shelled the Chernihiv region 42 times over the day. According to compiled data, 101 explosions were recorded. Twenty-one settlements in the region, including Horodnia, Semenivka, and Novhorod-Siverskyi, came under Russian fire.

“18 attacks with FPV drones. At least 10 unmanned aerial vehicles of the ‘Molniya’, ‘Geran’, and ‘Gerbera’ types. GABs and unguided aviation rockets targeted the border community,” Chaus wrote.

Kryvyi Rih

In Kryvyi Rih, the Russian forces hit a warehouse containing food packages intended for local residents and internally displaced persons. Over 60,000 food packages were destroyed, accorfding to Oleksandr Vilkul, head of the Kryvyi Rih Defense Council.

“High-precision monsters struck powerfully and accurately at the warehouse with food packages for Kryvyi Rih residents and IDPs. Unfortunately, over 60,000 food packages were destroyed,” he wrote.

According to him, packages for the first and second distribution waves had already been delivered to distribution points. For the third and largest wave, involving over 60,000 people, everything was completely destroyed.

As a result of the attack, objects of transport and urban infrastructure, an enterprise, an educational institution, about 10 apartment buildings, private houses, business facilities, and garages were damaged. Information is still being clarified.

Donetsk region

In Donetsk region, over the past day, September 6, the Russians killed two civilians and injured nine others, as reported by the head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, Vadym Filashkin.

“On September 6, the Russians killed 2 residents of Donetsk region: in Drobysheve and Hryshyne. Another 9 people in the region were injured during the day,” the report says.

Since the start of the full-scale invasion, the total number of victims of Russian aggression in Donetsk region, excluding Mariupol and Volnovakha, has reached 3,589 killed and 8,025 injured

Sumy region

This morning, Russian forces hit a five-story residential building in the Sumy community with a drone, as reported by Serhiy Kryvosheyenko, head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration.

“Around 10:30 a.m., the enemy attacked the Sumy community with a strike UAV. The drone hit a five-story residential building but did not detonate. There was no major destruction: only windows and balcony frames were damaged,” the report says.

Also during the night, Russian forces attacked an agricultural enterprise in the Stepanivska community of the Sumy region with a drone, injuring three of its employees.

Kharkiv region

In the Kupiansk district of Kharkiv region, Russian drones attacked vehicles and destroyed a TV tower in Velykyi Burluk since the beginning of the day. This was reported by Andriy Kanashevych, head of the Kupiansk District State Administration.

“On September 7 at 3:00 a.m., in the settlement of Kivsharivka, Kupiansk community, a civilian car was hit by an FPV drone. A 50-year-old man and a 48-year-old woman were injured and hospitalized in the regional clinical hospital,” the report says.

According to Kanashevych, at 4:45 a.m. on Dekoratyvna Street in Velykyi Burluk, a “Shahed” drone destroyed a TV tower. Around 7:40 a.m. on Tsentralna Street in the village of Starovirivka, Shevchenkivka community, an FPV drone damaged a car, private houses, and fences. No casualties were reported.

Kherson region

In the Central district of Kherson, a 73-year-old woman was injured as a result of artillery shelling. This was reported by the press service of the Kherson Regional Military Administration.

“Russian forces struck the Central district of Kherson with artillery in the morning. As a result of the attack, a 73-year-old woman sustained an explosive injury and shrapnel wounds to her abdomen,” the report says.

The administration noted that the woman was hospitalized and is receiving all necessary medical care. The Military Administration clarified that the victim was on the street during the Russian attack. She is currently in moderate condition.

Zaporizhzhia region

In Zaporizhzhia, the number of people injured in the evening drone attack has risen to 17. This was reported by the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, Ivan Fedorov.

“The number of people injured in the evening enemy attack on Zaporizhzhia has risen to 17. Two men sought medical help and have received all necessary assistance,” wrote the regional head.

In the city, 16 apartment buildings and 12 private houses were damaged, along with a kindergarten and several enterprise buildings.

Also over the course of the day, the occupiers carried out 522 strikes across 17 settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region. One person was killed and 15 were injured as a result of the Russian attack on Prymorske.

According to him, Russian forces carried out 7 airstrikes on Uspenivka, Malynivka, and Chervone. 338 UAVs of various modifications (mostly FPV) attacked Zaporizhzhia, Chervonodniprovka, Novomykolaivka, Plavni, Prymorske, Orikhiv, Huliaipole, Shcherbaky, Novodanylivka, Preobrazhenka, Mala Tokmachka, and Charivne. Two strikes from MLRS hit Novoandriivka and Bilohirya. 175 artillery strikes were carried out across Chervonodniprovka, Plavni, Huliaipole, Shcherbaky, Novodanylivka, Mala Tokmachka, and Charivne.

There were 25 reports of damage to enterprises, apartments, private houses, outbuildings, and vehicles.

Poltava region

As a result of the nighttime Russian attack in the Poltava region, damage to transport infrastructure and emergency power outages were recorded, as reported by the press service of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

“Poltava region: due to the nighttime Russian attacks, civilian infrastructure objects were damaged, and fires broke out in industrial facilities. Damage to transport infrastructure and emergency power outages were recorded,” the report says.

The State Emergency Service noted that there were no casualties.

“This night, there was another enemy attack. In the Poltava region, direct hits and falling debris were recorded,” he said.

According to Kohut, in the Kremenchuk district, a private house, a car, and one of the enterprises were damaged. In the city of Kremenchuk, the road surface of the bridge over the Dnieper River was also damaged. The crossing is temporarily closed.

In the Poltava district, UAV debris damaged the administrative building of one of the municipal enterprises.

Dnipropetrovsk region

In the morning, the Russian forces carried out an airstrike on the Pokrovska community in Dnipropetrovsk region. One man was killed. This was reported by the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, Serhiy Lysak.

Earlier reports stated that in the early hours, the Russians struck the Pokrovska community in Synelnykivskyi district with GAB bombs.

"A 74-year-old local resident was killed,” the report says. A farm building caught fire, and a private house was damaged.
