Russian strikes kill and injure civilians across multiple Ukrainian regions

Bila Tserkva, Kyiv region

In Bila Tserkva, Kyiv region, a fire broke out as a result of a Russian drone attack, leaving one person dead and several others injured, the acting head of the Bila Tserkva City Council, Volodymyr Vovkotrub, reported this.

“For the second night in a row, the Bila Tserkva community has been under attack by enemy drones. As a result, a fire broke out. Unfortunately, there are casualties, and one fatality has been confirmed,” he wrote.

The head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration, Mykola Kalashnyk, clarified that the body of the deceased man was discovered during firefighting operations at a garage cooperative.

“In the city, there is reported damage to windows in multi-story buildings, fires on the territory of a garage cooperative, and damage to commercial and industrial premises,” he wrote, promising to provide more detailed information later.

 

Zaporizhzhia region

Over the past 24 hours, Russian forces carried out 578 attacks on 18 settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region, killing two people, according to the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, Ivan Fedorov.

“Russian forces conducted six airstrikes on Omelnyk, Yehorivka, Novoselivka, Bilohirya, Malynivka, and Poltavka,” Fedorov wrote.

A total of 428 UAVs of various types, mostly FPV drones, targeted Chervonodniprovka, Bilenke, Prymorske, Plavni, Huliaipole, Shcherbaky, Odarivka, Novodanylivka, Omelnyk, Preobrazhenka, Mala Tokmachka, and Charivne. Additionally, there were three multiple-launch rocket system (MLRS) attacks on Shcherbaky, Novoandriivka, and Mala Tokmachka. Russian forces also carried out 141 artillery strikes on Chervonodniprovka, Plavni, Huliaipole, Shcherbaky, Novodanylivka, Mala Tokmachka, and Charivne. As a result of guided bomb strikes on the Polohy district, two people were killed.

Authorities received 89 reports of damage to private houses, apartments, farm buildings, and vehicles.

Dnipropetrovsk region

During the night, the Russian army attacked communities in the Dnipropetrovsk region using drones and artillery, causing destruction. This was reported on Facebook by the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, Serhiy Lysak.

A five-story residential building and an administrative building were damaged. Lysak also clarified that another man sought medical assistance after being injured during the evening attack on Nikopol. The 32-year-old wounded man received medical care and will be treated on an outpatient basis.

Kherson region

In the Kherson region, one person was killed and two others were injured over the past day as a result of Russian strikes, as reported by the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin.

According to him, Antonivka, Sadove, Naddnipryanske, Dniprovske, Bilozerka, Stanislav, Sofiivka, Kizomys, Oleksandrivka, Tyomina Balka, Shyroka Balka, Ivanivka, Dariivka, Fedorivka, Beryslav, Mykhailivka, Rakivka, Novoraysk, Vysoke, Burhunka, Dudchany, Zmiivka, Zolota Balka, Kostyrka, L’vove, Mykilske, Mylove, Monastyrske, Novooleksandrivka, Olhivka, Sablukivka, Tyahynka, Vesele, Kozatske, and Kherson itself came under Russian drone attacks and artillery shelling.

Five apartment buildings, eight private houses, and a cellular tower were damaged. Prokudin emphasized that due to Russian aggression, one person was killed and two others were injured.

Zaporizhzhia region

The Russian army dropped guided bombs on the Polohy district of the Zaporizhzhia region, killing a man. The head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, Ivan Fedorov, reported this.

“A 62-year-old man was killed as a result of the enemy attack on the Polohy district,” he wrote.

It was reported that Russian forces dropped aerial bombs on Uspenivka, causing destruction and damage to private houses and farm buildings in the village.

Over the past day, the Russian forces carried out 578 strikes on 18 settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region.

Donetsk region

Over the past day, September 1, the Russian army killed one resident of the Donetsk region, and seven others were injured.

This was reported by the head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, Vadym Filashkin. According to him, on September 1, one person was killed in Kostyantynivka, and seven others across the region were injured during the day.

The total number of Russian-caused casualties in Donetsk (3,443 dead and 7,937 injured) does not include figures from Mariupol and Volnovakha.
