Russian troops are digging trenches near Melitopol

Invaders are digging trenches near Melitopol: they are preparing a defensive positions against the offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The military of the Russian Federation began to dig trenches with the help of special equipment in Voznesenka, Mordvinovka, Dunaevka, Girsovka and other neighbouring villages.

The invaders dug up the field at the entrance to Melitopol. It is reported by the local media "Ria-Melitopol".

Such activation of Russian soldiers may indicate that they are preparing to defend the occupied territories. After all, last week the Armed Forces of Ukraine advanced 7 km in the Melitopol region.

Recall that the occupation authorities announced the celebration of the "Day of Russia" on June 12 in Melitopol. The “holiday” was held by the Russians at several locations at once, but few of the local residents came.

During the celebration of the “Day of Russia”, the Russians closed one of their headquarters in the temporarily occupied Melitopol. Everyone who is based there was sent to the “holiday”.
