Russians launched 48 missiles and 476 attack UAVs overnight

During the night of November 19 (starting from 18:00 on November 18), the Russian forces launched a combined strike on Ukraine’s critical infrastructure using attack UAVs and air- and ground-launched missiles. In total, the Air Force’s radio-technical units detected and tracked 524 aerial targets48 missiles and 476 UAVs of various types:

  • 476 attack UAVs of the Shahed, Gerbera, and other types, launched from the directions of Shatalovo, Kursk, Orel, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk (Russia), and Hvardiiske (temporarily occupied Crimea) — about 300 of them were Shaheds;
  • 40 Kh-101 cruise missiles (launch areas: Vologda and Astrakhan regions, Russia);
  • 7 Kalibr cruise missiles (from the Black Sea);
  • 1 Iskander-M ballistic missile (launch area: Rostov region, Russia).

The main directions of attack were Lviv region, Ternopil region, and Kharkiv region.

Ukrainian Defense Forces used aviation, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare units, unmanned systems, and mobile fire groups to repel the air attack.

According to preliminary data, as of 10:00, 483 aerial targets were shot down or suppressed by air defense:

  • 442 UAVs of the Shahed, Gerbera and other types;
  • 34 Kh-101 cruise missiles;
  • 7 Kalibr cruise missiles.

Currently, impacts of 7 missiles and 34 attack UAVs have been recorded at 14 locations, as well as debris from downed targets falling at 6 locations.
