369 demining groups of the Ministry of Defense continue to clear liberated regions of Ukraine from explosive remnants of war.
The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine reported that over the past week, from April 5 to April 12, 2024, demining units of the Ministry of Defense removed and neutralized 4,196 explosive objects. The following areas were surveyed and cleared:
• 4,570.03 hectares of terrain;
• 4,518.25 hectares of agricultural land;
• 15.48 kilometers of roads;
• 40.46 kilometers of railways;
• 3.1 kilometers of power lines.
"The work is being carried out with the involvement of special equipment for mechanized demining," the Ministry of Defense noted.
In total, demining units of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine have detected and destroyed 334,502 explosive remnants of war.
