On July 23, Russian troops attacked the port of Odessa with Kalibr cruise missiles.
The agreements in Istanbul on the partial unblocking of Ukrainian ports do not mean improving the security situation for Odessa residents.
This was announced on the air of the informational telethon by the speaker of the head of the Odessa military administration, Sergey Bratchuk.
Some part of the population, for some reason, accepted the agreements as that mine-explosive safety would be weakened. This will not happen. Therefore the ban on visiting the beaches of the Black Sea coast, and swimming in the sea remains relevant. I especially want to emphasize this. The path will be technical and only for ships
Sergey Bratchuk
As we reported earlier, on July 22, an agreement was signed in Istanbul to unblock three Ukrainian ports - Odessa, Chornomorsk and Yuzhny - for exporting grain and other agricultural products.
Infrastructure Minister of Ukraine Oleksandr Kubrakov and Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu signed separate identical agreements with the UN and Turkey.
Control over the ports "Odessa", "Chernomorsk" and "Yuzhny" remains entirely with the Ukrainian side.
