Serhii “Flash” Beskrestnov, an adviser to the President of Ukraine, has warned that jet-powered Shahed kamikaze drones with online control capabilities pose a significant threat. He said owners of warehouses, petrol stations and businesses located in high-risk areas should be prepared for possible attacks.
Beskrestnov shared the statement on Telegram.
“As you know, jet-powered Shaheds with online control are currently posing a major threat. At present, such Shaheds have limitations on the control range due to the specifics of the technology,” Beskrestnov said.
According to him, all areas marked as red zones fall within the potential strike range of online-controlled Shahed drones. In particular, within these zones, Shaheds can attack both moving and stationary targets.
“Owners of warehouses, petrol stations, businesses and other facilities must be prepared for possible strikes. Pay attention to air raid alerts and build shelters for people. The red zone is a risk zone,” he stressed.
