The Security Service advocates for maximum constructiveness and full cooperation in the interests of Ukraine’s national security.
Head of the Security Service of Ukraine (SSU), Lieutenant General Vasyl Maliuk, made this statement during a meeting convened by President Volodymyr Zelensky, which gathered the heads of all law enforcement and anti-corruption agencies: the SSU, Prosecutor General’s Office (PGO), State Bureau of Investigation (SBI), National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU), Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office (SAPO), and the National Agency on Corruption Prevention (NACP).
"The Security Service advocates for maximum constructiveness and full cooperation in the interests of Ukraine’s national security. All of us — law enforcement and anti-corruption bodies — must join efforts to work more effectively in combating corruption and, separately, in neutralizing Russian influence within our country. We must not allow the enemy to sow discord among us. We are strong only when we are united," Maliuk emphasized.
As a result of the meeting, the participants agreed that a working-level meeting of law enforcement officials will take place next week at the Prosecutor General’s Office to discuss a joint action plan.
In two weeks, during another meeting with the President, a comprehensive plan is expected to be finalized — outlining what steps are necessary and will be implemented to strengthen Ukraine, address outstanding issues, deliver more justice, and genuinely protect the interests of Ukrainian society.
