Security Service detains FSB agent group preparing coordinates for mass aerial bombardments of Kyiv, Cherkasy, Poltava, Vinnytsia, and Kirovohrad regions on the eve of Easter.

Among the priority targets were power-generating enterprises and logistic warehouses storing fuel and lubricants.

Additionally, the occupiers hoped to receive "confirmation" from their agents regarding the current geolocations of military airfields, as well as special units guarding the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

To carry out these tasks, the Russian intelligence service enlisted two agents from Uman and Lubny. For concealment, the participants acted separately but remotely "locked on" to one curator from the FSB.

The Security Service learned about all this at the initial stage of the reconnaissance activities of Russian agents, which it timely exposed and systematically documented.

Thanks to this, they managed to apprehend them "red-handed" near Kyiv, where they conducted reconnaissance near potential targets, thus thwarting the aggressor's plans for preparing air strikes.

As the investigation revealed, both suspects, unemployed 28-year-olds, were remotely recruited in March of this year by a staff member of the "Crimean Directorate" of the FSB. The identity of this individual has already been established by the Security Service.

For collaboration with the occupiers, he promised his agents a monetary reward. An anonymous chat in a popular messenger was used for communication.

Currently, Security Service investigators have informed the detainees of suspicion under Part 2 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (state treason committed under conditions of martial law).

The perpetrators are in custody and face life imprisonment.
