Viktor Medvedchuk was involved in Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine.

The politician, suspected of treason, was involved in the financing of potential Gauleiters and traitors, but these funds were embezzled.

The head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Kyrylo Budanov, said this in the interview to 1 + 1 channel.

“As the head of a special service, I have certain information (about where Viktor Medvedchuk is and what he is doing), but it is undercover and it is rather difficult to check as of now, because a short period has passed.

Medvedchuk had some influence during the preparations for the active phase, which began on February 24, including funds that were supposed to pay for people who would be Gauleiters, through which there were attempts to finance a certain, as Russia believed, resistance movement within Ukraine. As practice has shown, these funds are simply stolen," Budanov said.

  • Recall, on September 21, it became known about the exchange of prisoners on the territory of several countries: Poland, Turkey, Saudi Arabia and the border between Ukraine and the Russian Federation. 200 Ukrainian heroes were exchanged for Putin's godfather Viktor Medvedchuk, and Azovstal commanders were exchanged for 55 invaders.
