Based on the materials provided by the Security Service of Ukraine, the court has imposed an arrest on all corporate rights in Ukraine belonging to sanctioned Russian oligarchs Mikhail Fridman, Petr Aven, and Andrei Kostin. They are known to be part of Putin's inner circle and are involved in schemes related to financing Russia's armed aggression.
The court's decision applies to 20 companies and financial institutions in which these Kremlin-connected oligarchs either directly own or control through offshore companies. The total value of the arrested corporate rights is over UAH 17 billion Ukrainian.
The seized assets include financial and insurance companies, mobile communication enterprises, IT companies, and mineral water factories.
This arrest prevents the Russian owners from transferring these assets to proxy individuals to avoid their further transfer as income to Ukraine.
It's worth noting that earlier this year, SSU investigators notified Fridman of suspicion under Article 110-2, Part 3 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (financing actions aimed at forcibly changing or overthrowing the constitutional order, seizing state power, changing the territory or state border of Ukraine).
Currently, the suspect, along with his business partners, is outside of Ukraine, and comprehensive measures are ongoing to establish all the circumstances of their subversive activities and hold those responsible accountable. The investigation was conducted under the procedural guidance of the Prosecutor General's Office
