The Czech government has today, on November 15, adopted a decision to freeze all Russian state assets on its territory.
This was announced by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic, Jan Lipavský.
"At my proposal, the government today approved the freezing of Russian state assets in the Czech Republic. This ends the commercial activity that Russia uses to finance the killing of Ukrainians," he wrote on the social network X.
The decision of the Czech government to freeze all Russian state assets has been welcomed by the Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
"Czechia has just frozen all Russian state assets. I applaud this principled step and thank my counterpart and friend Jan Lipavský. All countries that haven’t yet done so should follow suit. Russian money should be used for Ukraine’s recovery instead of murder and destruction," stated the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dmytro Kuleba.
