Units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine struck a base for storing, assembling, and launching Shahed-type UAVs in occupied Donetsk, as well as the Volgograd oil refinery.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this.

During the night of November 5, Defense Forces units hit a Shahed drone storage, assembly, and launch base in Donetsk (on the territory of Donetsk Airport).

According to objective control data, explosions and powerful secondary detonations were recorded at the site.

The operation was carried out by units of the Missile and Artillery Forces, the Unmanned Systems Forces (414th Brigade), and the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The Defense Forces also struck the Volgograd oil refinery.

The refinery’s annual processing capacity is 15.7 million tons of oil (5.6% of the total refining volume in Russia). Explosions and a fire were recorded in the target area.

In addition, to reduce Russian logistical capabilities in occupied Crimea, three facilities were struck.

At an oil depot in Hvardiiske, a reservoir and fuel tanks at a loading and unloading platform were successfully hit.

At two fuel and lubricant bases in Simferopol, storage tank facilities were struck, and fires were recorded in the fuel reservoirs.
