In the night of 28 November, the Defense Forces struck the Saratov oil refinery and a drone storage site at the “Saky” airfield in temporarily occupied Crimea, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported on Facebook.

According to the military, a fire broke out at the oil refinery area following a series of explosions. Assessment of the strike results is ongoing.

The General Staff emphasized that the Saratov refinery is involved in supplying the needs of the Russian army. The facility produces over 20 types of petroleum products, including gasoline, fuel oil, diesel fuel, and technical sulfur.

At the “Saky” airfield, preliminary reports indicate that several air defense facilities were hit, including Pantsir-S1 and TOR-M2 systems. After neutralizing the enemy air defense, the Ukrainian forces destroyed a hangar storing Orion and Forpost drones. The strike also hit a command-and-control post and a Russian military KamAZ truck. Assessment of the damages is ongoing.

Additionally, areas of enemy troop concentration and fuel and lubricant depots in the temporarily occupied parts of Donetsk and Luhansk regions were also struck. Results are being confirmed.
