The cluster for the development of military technologies in Ukraine, Brave1, has created a new technology - the ground-based kamikaze robot Ratel S, which allows targeting enemy objects from a safe distance.
This was announced by Vice Prime Minister for Innovation, Education, Science, and Technology Development, and Minister of Digital Transformation, Mykhailo Fedorov.
"Ratel S is a ground robot developed by Ukrainian engineers. Soldiers use it as a mobile warhead carrier equipped with anti-tank mines or a combat module. Thanks to this technology, an operator can remotely detonate an enemy tank or bunker from a safe location," said the Vice Prime Minister.
The maximum speed of this "machine" is 24 kilometers per hour, and its operational range is 6 kilometers. The technology can operate for up to 2 hours without recharging. Ratel S has successfully passed field tests and has been launched into mass production.
