The Security Service of Ukraine has completed a pre-trial investigation into Anton Kuznetsov-Krasovsky, director of the Russian propaganda TV channel Russia Today (RT).
He repeatedly used all media platforms to publicly call for the genocide of Ukrainians, eliminating Ukraine's independence and overthrowing its constitutional system.
The SBU investigators gathered a comprehensive evidence base to bring him to criminal responsibility.
In particular, it is documented that Kuznetsov-Krasovsky repeatedly spoke negatively about:
- Ukrainians as a nation;
- the existence of Ukraine as an independent and sovereign state.
In his publications posted on YouTube and Telegram channels, the attacker called on the Russian authorities to physically destroy Ukrainians: "Guys, it's obvious that we need to pull ourself together. Come together, stop thinking about "brothers". They are not our brothers. I grew up there, I know what i say: Kil them! Let's do it! Enough!"
He spread anti-Ukrainian propaganda not only on the air of the TV channel, but also created "author's" videos such as "F*ck, this country shouldn't exist!". At the same time, he convinced the audience of the practicality of conducting a so-called "special military operation" on the territory of Ukraine.
Currently, the pre-trial investigation within the framework of the criminal proceedings initiated under part 2 of Art. 442 (genocide, public calls for genocide, and production of materials with calls for genocide for the purpose of distribution or distribution of such materials) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The indictment was submitted to the court.
SBU employees conducted the pre-trial investigation under the procedural guidance of the Prosecutor General's Office.
