The International Drone Coalition summit will take place in Riga on May 28.
This was announced by Ukraine’s Ambassador to Latvia Anatolii Kutsivol during an online briefing with Ukrainian ambassadors in the Baltic countries.
“Latvia, together with the United Kingdom and Ukraine, is a leader of the Drone Coalition. The Drone Coalition summit will be held in Riga on May 28,” Kutsivol said.
He added that registration for participation in the event has already been closed, but if any Ukrainian manufacturers reach out to the embassy in the coming days, diplomats will try to take “certain steps” to assist them.
The Ukrainian ambassador also noted that, given the security challenges, the issue of the defense-industrial complex has become highly relevant in Latvia.
“Interest in technologies and investment in these sectors is quite high,” the diplomat reported.
