The new films by Antonio Lukich and Katerina Gornostai have been selected to participate in the coproduction market at the Berlinale – Berlinale Co-Production Market, as reported by the Ukrainian State Film Agency.

"Antonivka" by Katerina Gornostai ("Stop-Zemlia") is a tragicomedy produced by Moon Man.

"Antonivka" is a Ukrainian-Latvian tragicomedy co-production. The film's plot revolves around the young and in love Aurora and Darc, who have survived the war and are starting a life together. However, lacking the funds for their own housing, they move into a room in Aurora's grandfather's house, who has already witnessed the occupation of the village and suffered a stroke."

"Screaming Girl" by Antonio Lukich ("My Thoughts Are Silent," "Luxembourg, Luxembourg") by ForeFilms.

"Screaming Girl" is the story of a girl who, after the onset of a full-scale invasion by the Russian Federation into Ukraine, finds herself in Ireland and tries to pursue her dream of becoming an actress. However, suddenly, she begins to experience strange and fantastic events that completely disrupt her life, prompting her to rebuild it from scratch.

A total of 34 film projects from 27 countries around the world were selected to participate in the 21st Berlinale Co-Production Market. In total, 318 applications were submitted, slightly more than last year, according to information from Ukrainian State Film Agency. The coproduction market will take place from February 17 to 21 during the Berlin International Film Festival.

The Berlinale Co-Production Market is one of the world's largest platforms for seeking partners for joint film production and financing. The five-day film market brings together producers, sales agents, distributors, as well as investors.
