Immediately after russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the National Volleyball Federation appealed to the European Volleyball Confederation (CEV) and the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB) to impose sanctions against the aggressor. We received prompt response and support from the federations of the partner countries.
This was announced by the Minister of Youth and Sports Vadym Huttsait on Facebook.
russian and belarusian teams (club and national) are suspended from all official competitions, including European Championships, Eurocups and the 2023 World Cup.
