The foreign ministers of Ukraine and Lithuania, Andriy Sibiha and Kęstutis Budrys, visited Kherson and the Kherson region.

The head of Ukrainian diplomacy announced this on social media.

“Kęstutis became the first foreign minister to visit the city since its de-occupation in the fall of 2022. This is a powerful sign of solidarity with our people against the backdrop of constant Russian terror against Kherson,” Sybiha said.

He reported that, together with his Lithuanian counterpart, he visited a critical infrastructure facility, an underground school, and an underground maternity ward.

The diplomats also met with local authorities and residents of the city, discussed priority needs, and focused on specific steps to increase international assistance to Kherson.
