Ukraine's attack on the Chongar and Henichesk bridges in the south has disrupted the logistics of the occupying forces.

"It is not a military secret for anyone that thanks to these routes, the Russian occupiers were supplying their grouping in the south through the temporarily occupied Crimea. The battles there are quite tough and fierce. And, accordingly, logistics now plays a decisive role, apart from personnel," said Dmytro Pletenchuk, a representative of the Ukrainian Naval Forces, in an interview with Radio NV.

According to him, even with a large number of personnel, no one sends soldiers to the front line with stones against tanks. Therefore, the significance of strikes on the bridges, which aid in the supply of the occupying army, cannot be overstated.

The Ukrainian Naval Forces did not comment on the current condition of the damaged bridges, as gathering information about objects in temporarily occupied territories is difficult. At the same time, a representative of the agency confirmed that repairs to the damaged bridges have been carried out by the Russians. However, the Ukrainian Armed Forces are working "proactively" and attempting to cut off the enemy.

"There can't be too many destroyed bridges on the territory under enemy control," explained Pletenchuk.
