The Russian army attacked the Mykolaiv region with a guided aerial bomb launched from a Su-34 aircraft.
This was reported by the head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration, Vitaliy Kim, on Telegram, citing the Ukrainian Air Force.
"Around 12:00 on October 16, a launch from a Su-34 over the Black Sea was recorded. The aerial attack was directed toward the city of Mykolaiv," the report says.
It is noted that the impact site has been identified, preliminarily with no casualties. Relevant services are working to determine the type of aerial munition used.
Earlier, the head of the administration reported that a GAB was recorded in the direction of Mykolaiv, and an air raid alert was announced.
