In Odessa, at a grain warehouse in the seaport that was destroyed due to an enemy strike, the bodies of two deceased individuals were found under the rubble. This was reported by the head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, Oleg Kiper.
"Unfortunately, as a result of the Russian overnight attack, we have one casualty. A Russian missile hit the warehouse where grain was stored. Two individuals who were working in the facility have been out of contact since last night. At 12:15, the body of one of the missing persons was found under the rubble," the official explained.
Later in Odessa, the body of the second deceased worker, who lost his life due to a Russian missile hitting the grain warehouse, was discovered, according to the head of the Odessa Regional Military Administration, Kiper.
According to the press service of the Odesa Regional Prosecutor's Office, during the clearance of debris in the Odessa port area, the body of a man, an employee of one of the private enterprises, was found. Preliminary information suggests that he worked as an electrician.
As the head of the press service of the regional headquarters of the State Emergency Service, Marina Martynenko, informed journalists, during the night, rescuers had to work at various locations where enemy missiles hit.
"These were warehouse premises of one of the enterprises in Odessa. Additionally, there was a vegetation fire in an open area covering 700 square meters. However, the majority of forces and resources were deployed at the hotel near the maritime station, where a 20-story building sustained extensive damage, with five fire outbreaks covering a total area of over 2,000 square meters," Martynenko explained.
