The Security Service of Ukraine identified several perpetrators who helped men of draft age to leave Ukraine without legal grounds. Their " services " cost ranged from 4 to more than 15 thousand US dollars, depending on the region and the degree of risk for the "customer".
Mykolaiv region:
According to the investigation, the organizer of the illegal departure of potential conscripts abroad was a local resident.
In collaboration with the citizens of Moldova, he ensured unhindered transportation to the neighboring country outside the established checkpoints.
He estimated his services at 6,000 US dollars. I looked for "clients" among friends.
As part of investigative and operational actions, law enforcement officers documented the transfer of the full cost of the "transfer" to the organizer of the scheme.
The SBU also detained an "escort group" that was supposed to ensure an unhindered border crossing.
Currently, the organizer and one of his accomplices, a citizen of Moldova, have been charged with suspicion under Part 3 of Art. 332 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (illegally transporting persons across the state border).
Investigations are ongoing to establish all the circumstances and persons involved in the offense.
The channel was exposed by employees of the Main Department of Internal Security of the SBU in cooperation with the National Police and under the procedural guidance of the Mykolaiv Regional Prosecutor's Office.
Kyiv:
The organizer of the "scheme" turned out to be a former assistant to a People's Deputy from the "Opposition Block" political party banned in Ukraine.
As an employee of one of the communal medical institutions of the KMDA, he used an "administrative resource" to produce documents exempting conscripts from service in the Armed Forces.
As a bonus, he promised help when crossing the state border. He estimated his "services" at $15200.
The law enforcement officers caught the perpetrator red-handed - while receiving the second tranche for documents in the amount of $ 7700.
Currently, he has been notified of suspicion under Part 3 of Art. 332 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (illegally transporting persons across the state border).
An investigation is ongoing to identify all persons involved in illegal activities, including those who ordered fake documents.
Investigations were carried out together with the investigators of the National Police under the procedural guidance of the Kyiv Regional Prosecutor's Office.
Lviv:
The perpetrator turned out to be a local resident who, for $4,000, made fake documents for his "clients" that allegedly proved their ineligibility for military service.
Thanks to the prompt response of the SBU, he never managed to produce a single fake.
Employees of the special service detained him on the "first order", when the attacker received a deposit for his "services" from the "client".
Currently, he has been charged with suspicion under Part 3 of Art. 332 of the Criminal Code (illegal transportation of persons across the state border) and a preventive measure in the form of detention was chosen.
Investigative actions are ongoing to establish all the circumstances and persons involved in the arrangement.
