Movement at the Ukrainian-Polish border remains complicated on three fronts: Yagodyn, Krakovets, and Rava-Ruska, according to the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine.

As of the evening of November 9, over 20,000 vehicles are blocked from both sides.

The situation is causing economic damage not only to Ukraine and Poland but also to other countries unable to transport goods, violating their contractual obligations, the Ministry states.

"The blockade of the border by Polish protesters disrupts logistic routes, affecting both the economy of Ukraine and the European Union. It's crucial - no changes or cancellation of the Agreement on Liberalization are being discussed. In turn, the Ministry of Community Development, Territories, and Infrastructure is ready to help our Polish colleagues resolve the situation with the border blockade, provide all relevant explanations, and hold meetings if needed," the Ministry's statement reads.

Earlier, the spokesperson for the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, Andriy Demchenko, reported that as of the morning of November 9, approximately 1,700 vehicles were blocked at the border.

"As of the morning, on all three fronts, heading from Poland to Ukraine, there were about 1,700 vehicles, half of which were at the Yagodyn checkpoint," Demchenko noted.

He also added that traffic is complicated on these three routes exclusively for cargo vehicles.

"It is necessary to understand that only cargo vehicles and buses are allowed through the Yagodyn checkpoint. However, as the organizers and participants of the protest emphasized, they do not block the movement for buses and passenger cars," he emphasized.

Recently, it became known that Polish carriers would go on strike at the border. The reason is excessive competition following the liberalization of international transportation between Ukraine and EU countries.
