The Ukrainian esports team "The Witchers" emerged victorious in the first HLTV tournament for the game CS2 - Esportal Clash Open 2023.
The tournament took place on October 7th, and in the finals, The Witchers defeated the French team Looking4Org with an overall score of 2:1.
The scores on the individual maps were as follows:
- Overpass: 11:13
- Inferno: 13:9
- Vertigo: 13:10
The total prize pool for the tournament was $10,000.
Esportal Clash Open was the first European online tournament for Counter-Strike 2, organized by Esportal. Four teams participated in the event.
Counter-Strike 2 is the latest installment in the Counter-Strike game franchise, released on September 27, 2023.
