Kyiv has previously warned Iran that cooperation with the Russian Federation and support for aggression against Ukraine will have consequences.
Today, the Iranian Foreign Ministry summoned the Chargé d'Affaires of Ukraine in Tehran due to comments by Ukrainian officials regarding UAV strikes on Iranian military facilities.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine reacted to the scandal involving drone strikes on Iranian strategic targets on the night of Sunday, January 29.
In his social networks, the speaker of the department, Oleg Nikolenko, reminded Iran of Persian folk wisdom, which concerns cooperation between Tehran and the Russian Federation.
At the same time, he stressed that Ukraine does not know the cause of the explosions at Iranian facilities. Still, Kyiv had previously warned Iran that there could be consequences for supporting Russian aggression.
"We do not know the cause of the explosions at Iranian facilities. But as Persian folk wisdom says: do no harm to another, and you will not harm yourself," he wrote.
