The Ukrainian Navy has received new Combat Boat 90 vessels from Sweden and Norway, Commander of the Ukrainian Naval Forces Vice Admiral Oleksii Neizhpapa announced on Facebook.

“These boats are already in service with our fleet, and now we have even more — a full division has been formed based on this equipment,” Neizhpapa said.

According to the commander, the CB90 is among the best in the world and is used by many countries, including NATO members. These high-speed, maneuverable, and reliable boats are designed for a wide range of missions — from landing troops and coastal defense to patrolling and protecting civilian shipping.

The vessels are equipped according to the requirements of modern naval warfare, and their crews have completed full training to use all their capabilities effectively.

“I personally tested the Combat Boat 90 in action. I’m confident these boats will become a powerful tool in the hands of our warriors,” Neizhpapa emphasized.

He noted that the delivery of these vessels is another result of joint work within the Ukrainian Naval Capabilities Coalition, created to strengthen the Navy’s potential.

Neizhpapa thanked Ukraine’s partners for their steadfast support, trust, and shared vision of the future.
