The Russian army's regular shelling has devastated almost all multi-storey buildings in Kherson, with only a few remaining intact today, according to Military Administration Chairman Olexander Prokudin, speaking on We are-Ukraine.

"In Kherson, there may be a small number of intact multi-storey buildings left, as almost every one has been damaged. Every day, the Kherson region experiences such attacks, and overall, more than 26,000 objects of civilian, social, and critical infrastructure have been damaged or destroyed, including 23,700 private properties and 1,100 multi-storey buildings," he noted.

According to Prokudin, in the past day, Russian forces opened fire on eight populated areas in the region, including Kherson, Berislav, Yantarnoe, Dniprovsky, Kizomys, Antonivka, Sadove, and Lvove. Two people were injured.

The Russians targeted residential areas, resulting in damage to four private homes and one apartment building. Additionally, a gas pipeline was damaged due to the shelling.

"Almost every critical infrastructure is being targeted; these are not isolated incidents but rather tactics of the Russian army. Of course, operational specialists quickly restore networks damaged by enemy fire, and over the past two years, they have learned to do so quickly. For example, yesterday in the settlement of the Bilozerska community, where a gas pipeline was damaged, everything was immediately shut down and repaired. Currently, gas supply has been restored in 79 out of 89 settlements, with 90% of consumers connected to the network," Prokudin stated.
