The head of the press center of the Operational Command "South," Natalia Humeniuk, made this statement during a telethon.
"In the Black Sea waters, the enemy's naval grouping has somewhat reduced. Surface missile carriers were brought into base points overnight. Two submarines remain on combat duty (8'Kalibr' missiles) ready for deployment," said Humeniuk.
The speaker also mentioned that submarine-launched missiles are harder to detect, so air alarm signals should not be ignored.
"I would like to remind you that detecting launches from submarines is somewhat complicated: the missiles in such cases fly very low above the water, and detecting them is very difficult. Therefore, there may be only a few minutes between detecting an airborne target and a direct hit. Therefore, in such cases, air alarm signals should be taken very seriously and responded to," Humeniuk stated.
