Prime Minister Yuliia Svyrydenko and Pierre Heilbronn, the Special Envoy of the President of France for Aid and Reconstruction of Ukraine, discussed defense projects during their meeting, including the creation of joint Ukrainian–French defense enterprises.
Svyrydenko reported this on Telegram.
The discussion also focused on the importance of a reparations-based credit mechanism backed by frozen Russian assets to support Ukraine’s financial and social stability, as well as its defense needs.
According to the Prime Minister, a decision from the European Council regarding this credit is expected in December.
During the meeting, both sides reviewed progress in bilateral cooperation and outlined strategic priorities for continued Ukraine–France collaboration. They also discussed cultural support initiatives through the newly established Ukrainian Cultural Heritage Fund.
Svyrydenko thanked Heilbronn for his contribution to supporting Ukraine.
“We look forward to the continued Ukrainian–French partnership,” she added.
