Ukraine and the Czech Republic discussed the supply of artillery shells

Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Serhii Boiev held a meeting with Aleš Vytečka, Director of the Czech Governmental Defense Cooperation Agency.

The parties focused on implementation of the ammunition initiative for Ukraine. The delegations discussed delivery timelines and available quantities of ammunition across the most priority categories.

Serhii Boiev thanked the Czech Republic for its consistent support in providing Ukraine with artillery shells.

“Our priority is obtaining extended‑range munitions that give Ukrainian soldiers an advantage on the battlefield. The Czech Republic plays an exceptionally important role in the initiative that ensures stable ammunition supplies for the Defense Forces,” the deputy head of the defense ministry emphasized.

The Czech side also shared details on the provision of security assistance and the status of ammunition contracting.
