This was announced by the head of the Gas TSO of Ukraine (GTSOU) Sergiy Makogon on his Facebook page.
In Denmark, 27% of the gas in the networks is biomethane (biogas brought to methane quality). The last 5-6 months have seen steady growth. Denmark expects to have a 100% green gas system in 2030-2035.
Ukraine has a huge potential for biogas production - up to 8 billion m3 of biogas per year. This is a very ambitious goal for the next 10 years. But 0.5 billion m3 of biogas in 2 years is quite real.
