Ukraine’s air defense systems have shot down 69 out of 96 Russian drones

On the night of October 14 (from 7:00 PM on October 13), the Russian forces launched 96 strike drones, including Shahed, Gerbera, and other types, from the directions of Millerovo, Bryansk, Oryol, Kursk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk (Russia), and Hvardiiske (occupied Crimea), with around 60 of them being Shaheds.

The air assault was countered by Ukraine’s aviation, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare and drone units, as well as mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces.

According to preliminary data as of 8:30 AM, air defense shot down or suppressed 69 drones (Shahed, Gerbera, and other types) across northern, southern, eastern, and central Ukraine.

There were confirmed hits by 27 strike drones at seven locations, and debris from downed drones fell at one location.
