More than half of the companies on the list belong to the MHP financial and industrial group owned by Yurii Kosiuk. Businesses within the MHP group account for 71% of the total revenue and 67% of the total profit among the industry leaders, reports OpenDataBot.

Topping the ranking is the Vinnytsia Poultry Farm, whose revenue makes up a third of the total earnings of all companies in the Index. Last year, its revenue rose by 27% to reach ₴49.7 billion. At the same time, its profit increased even more dramatically—by 6.5 times—to ₴4.02 billion.

The Myronivska Poultry Farm increased its revenue by 17% to ₴24.97 billion, securing second place in the Index. Its profit grew 2.3 times to ₴3.12 billion.

Third place, with the highest profit growth, went to the Lebedyn Seed Plant, part of the LNZ Group. The company’s revenue increased by 19% to ₴18.7 billion, while profit skyrocketed 43-fold to ₴143 million—a record figure among all the companies on the list.

MHP’s Zernoproduct, with ₴9.98 billion in revenue, showed the highest revenue growth in the Index—nearly doubling. After a difficult 2023, when the company ended the year with losses, it posted a profit of ₴2.43 billion last year.

Enselco Agro, part of the Kernel group owned by Andrii Verevskyi, became the top company in terms of profit but only ranked fifth in revenue. The company managed to increase its profit nearly fourfold in a year, earning ₴4.22 billion. Meanwhile, its revenue grew by only a third, reaching ₴9.67 billion.

Another Kernel company—Druzhba-Nova—took the next spot. Altogether, Kernel businesses account for another 30% of the top ten’s total profit. Druzhba-Nova increased its revenue by 9% to ₴8.16 billion and earned ₴1.88 billion in profit, compared to a loss of ₴1.81 billion in 2023.

The company Zakhidnyi Buh, with ₴5.5 billion in revenue, also did not make it into the Index.
