During January–June 2026, Ukraine exported 248.4 thousand tonnes of poultry meat, which is 9.7% more than in the same period last year.
This was reported by the Union of Poultry Farmers of Ukraine based on data from the State Customs Service.
In particular, in June 2026, poultry meat exports amounted to 41.3 thousand tonnes, which is 5.3% less compared with May, when 43.6 thousand tonnes were exported.
In monetary terms, June exports decreased by 4.7% to $89.2 million. At the same time, the average export price of poultry meat remained unchanged at $2.16 per kilogram, due to the stabilization of prices on foreign markets.
"In the first half of 2026, total poultry meat exports amounted to 248.4 thousand tonnes, which is 9.7% more than in the same period last year. At the same time, export revenue decreased by 1.8% and amounted to $526.4 million," the statement said.
The largest buyers of Ukrainian poultry meat in the first half of the year were the Netherlands, accounting for 19.5% of total exports, the United Kingdom – 11.6%, Slovakia – 10.3%, and the United Arab Emirates – 6.5%.
The share of European Union countries in Ukraine’s total poultry meat exports amounted to 36.3%, or 86.8 thousand tonnes. In monetary terms, supplies to the EU generated almost half of foreign currency revenue – 46%.
In addition, during the first six months of 2026, Ukraine exported 8.7 thousand tonnes of processed poultry meat products worth $29.6 million. Compared with the same period in 2025, this figure increased by 3%, while export revenue grew by 16.5%.
