The Unmanned Systems Forces on the night of July 16 struck 11 Russian shadow fleet vessels in the Black and Azov seas, including five tankers, one gas tanker, three dry cargo ships, and two tugboats.
Commander of the Unmanned Systems Forces Robert 'Madyar' Brovdi announced this on Facebook.
According to him, during the operation from July 6 to July 16, a total of 147 vessels belonging to Russia’s shadow fleet were hit. Of these, 117 were in the Azov Sea and 30 in the Black Sea.
"The goal is to paralyze the logistics of oil, fuel, and cargo transportation bypassing sanctions. To turn every self-propelled vessel into a drifting barge at sea, blind and deaf; the goal is not to pollute the waters with oil spills, which is why there are no hull breaches," Brovdi emphasized.
