Ukrainian Cinema Days to showcase culture and resilience in Brussels this November

From November 18 to 21, 2025, Belgium will host Ukrainian Cinema Days — a series of free screenings of contemporary Ukrainian films in Brussels and its surrounding areas. Over four days, audiences will be able to watch feature films and documentaries that showcase Ukrainian culture, freedom, and the resilience of the human spirit.

November 19Taste of Freedom / Le goût de la liberté

Location: Maison du MédiaLab, Avenue d’Ixelles 34, Etterbeek

Start: 18:00

November 20Shchedryk / La cantilène des cloches

Location: Pianofabriek, Rue Fort 35, Saint-Gilles

Start: 16:00

November 21Culture vs War, anthology

Location: Ukrainian Civil Society Hub, Esplanade Solidarité 1980, B-1050 Brussels

Start: 14:00

All screenings are free of charge. Films will be shown in Ukrainian with French subtitles.

The event aims to introduce Belgian audiences to Ukrainian cinema and foster cultural dialogue between Ukraine and Europe.
