During an update from the Military Media Center, Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine, Hanna Malyar, reported that battles have been taking place on the southern and northern flanks of the city of Bahmut.
Hanna Malyar stated:
'Last week, it was very intense in the areas of Klischiivka, Kurdiumivka, and Ozaryanivka.'
She mentioned that during the past week, 3 square kilometers of territory were liberated. In total, since the beginning of the Ukrainian troops' advance on the Bahmut direction, 47 square kilometers have been liberated.
She also reported that Ukrainian troops are continuing their offensive actions on the Melitopol direction.
According to her, in the last few days, there have been successes in the area of Novodanilivka – Novoprokopiivka, and the Armed Forces are consolidating their positions on the achieved front lines.
