On the night of November 2, the Armed Forces of Ukraine attacked the Tuapse oil terminal — one of the largest oil transshipment facilities on the Black Sea. According to the operational headquarters of Russia’s Krasnodar region, the attack caused damage to the terminal’s infrastructure and a tanker moored at the dock. Drone debris that fell onto the vessel started a fire and damaged the deck superstructure. No casualties have been reported.

The Tuapse oil terminal is located about 8 kilometers from the port of Tuapse and is used for oil export and import. It is one of the largest facilities of its kind on the Black Sea, serving as a transit hub for crude oil shipments to other regions. The terminal belongs to Rosneft.

According to Astra, at least three fires broke out in the port. OSINT analysts from the outlet reported that two occurred at the deepwater berth complex of RN-Morskoy Terminal Tuapse LLC, and another at the oil-loading pier near the southern breakwater. They also suggested a possible fourth fire at the dry cargo pier in the northwestern part of the bay.

At the same time, Ukrainian forces carried out a large-scale drone attack on an energy facility in the occupied Luhansk region.
