The tournament started on Monday 4 October 2021, through to Sunday 17 October 2021. The quarter-finals are on 14 and 15 October, and the semi-finals will be played on 15 and 16 October. The Indian Wells finals will take place on Sunday 17 October.
Nadiia Kichenok
At the start of the doubles category of the WTA1000 tournament in Indian Wells, Ukrainian Nadiya Kichenok, paired with Raluca Olara from Romania, lost in three sets.
The competitor of the Ukrainian-Romanian duo were Jessica Pegula and Asia Muhammad from the USA - 3:6, 6:3, 7:10. The match lasted an hour and 28 minutes.
Kateryna Kozlova
In the first round, Ukrainian tennis player Kateryna Kozlova finished her performances at the WTA1000 tournament in Indian Wells, USA.
The 27-year-old athlete lost to Russian Lyudmila Samsonova in two sets - 4: 6, 6: 7 (6). The fight lasted a little over two hours.
Elina Svitolina
Ukrainian tennis player Elina Svitolina as the fourth-seeded, starts at the WTA-1000 BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells, from the second round.
Today the first rival of the first racket of Ukraine was determined. She became the Czech tennis player Tereza Martintsova, who ranks 52nd in the world classification.
Marta Kostyuk
Ukrainian tennis player Marta Kostyuk successfully started at the WTA1000 tournament in Indian Wells. The 19-year-old athlete managed to win the match against Chinese Zhang Shuai in three sets - 6: 3, 1: 6, 6: 2. The match lasted an hour and 34 minutes.
In the second round of the tournament Kostyuk will play against Simona Halep from Romania. The match with the Ukrainian will be the first in the tournament in singles.
Angelina Kalinina
Another Ukrainian, Angelina Kalinina, failed to overcome the first round in Indian Wells. She lost to American Shelby Rogers in two sets (6: 7 (2), 2: 6).
Dayana Yastremska
Dayana Yastremskaya's match against 18-year-old French wild card holder Elsa Jacques (374th in the world) will be the first run on the fourth court.
