In Kyiv, on October 21, the Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal held a meeting with the President of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) Odile Renaud-Basso. The Head of Government thanked for the consistent support of our country.
"The EUR 2 billion disbursed by the EBRD to support the sustainability of Ukraine at the beginning of the full-scale invasion are already working to support the stability of the energy and transport sectors of the Ukrainian economy," said Denys Shmyhal.
The Prime Minister of Ukraine spoke about russia's missile attacks on the energy facilities of our country and about joint work with partners to ensure the stability of the energy system.
The parties also discussed strengthening support for Ukraine in the financial sector. In particular, Denys Shmyhal reported that the Government is working on the consolidation of international financial aid for the implementation of the Ukraine Recovery Plan and budget support. He added that the EBRD is one of Ukraine's major partners in this field.
