Ukrainian startups showcased their developments at the Nordic Deep Tech Business Summit 2025

A delegation of Ukrainian startups showcased their innovations at the Nordic Deep Tech Business Summit 2025, the largest Scandinavian event focused on deep tech, bringing together thousands of startups, investors, scientists, corporations, and technology hubs from across Europe.

The Ministry of Digital Transformation reported that Ukraine was represented by startups working in advanced technologies, including Aspichi, DOFamine, Explogen, Geodesic.Life, HEFT, MARVILON, Peony, and Synteza.

 

 

During the two-day summit, Ukrainian teams achieved notable successes:

  • Nearly 100 meetings with representatives of European investment funds, innovation structures, and universities, with several potential partnerships expected to be formalized soon.
  • Dozens of new contacts with leading international organizations, including Sumitomo Electric Industries, Iron Wolf Capital, ZAZ Ventures, Sandwaters, BSV Ventures, Natural Resources Institute Finland, and Helsinki Health Cluster.
  • Signed business agreements and expressions of interest from Aalto University, University of Helsinki, University of Tampere, Urban Tech Helsinki, Kemira, and Quriegene.

 

 

Startups also received expert feedback, established connections for entering the Nordic market, and explored collaboration opportunities with Finnish universities actively supporting the deep tech ecosystem. Notably, Geodesic.Life announced plans to start building a pilot ecological dome house in the Nordics next year.

The summit highlighted Ukraine’s growing role in Europe’s deep tech landscape and strengthened ties between Ukrainian innovators and the Nordic innovation ecosystem.
