JSC Ukrainian Defense Industry concluded a number of agreements with international partners during the DFNC3 forum, including with the Spanish manufacturer of combat modules Escribano.

This was reported by the company’s CEO Herman Smetanin.

“We are already cooperating on modernizing our armored vehicles with combat modules. Today we put new agreements on paper. This concerns prospects for cooperation in air defense and deepening cooperation in the field of armored vehicles,” the message says.

Also during the Third Defense Industries Forum (DFNC3), Ukroboronprom and the U.S. drone manufacturer LeVanta Tech Inc. agreed to cooperate. The company specializes in manufacturing air-sea UAVs (the “float-and-fly” concept). Partners also plan to jointly develop solutions to increase the speed and resilience of Ukrainian products.

According to Smetanin, Ukraine is interested in developing production on its territory and organizing training for its weapons manufacturers. In addition, the Ukroboronprom team discussed with Romanian arms company Romarm the possibility of joint production of technical equipment and unmanned platforms. They also plan to jointly attract investment to finance projects
