JSC Ukrzaliznytsia will change the prices for performing certain works and providing services related to freight transportation starting July 1.
Specifically, the cost of works and services related to freight transportation provided by JSC Ukrzaliznytsia to other business entities at free prices (single prices) will be adjusted taking into account the industrial producer price index (PPI) results for the first quarter of 2025 (compared to the previous quarter) — at a level of 102.9%.
These include:
- Delivery of wagons and containers for loading (unloading) at a specified time, time of day, days of the week or month, upon a separate written request or contract for this service (except days indicated in the ten-day request);
- Development and adjustment at the request of shippers of drawings, diagrams, performing calculations for cargo loading and securing, checking and approval of drawings and calculations provided by shippers;
- Development and adjustment of unified technological processes for the operation of industrial enterprises’ access tracks at their request;
- Provision of services related to the transportation of export-import and transit cargo (wagon usage, cargo storage, delivery and removal of wagons, etc.) during processing of these cargoes via direct option (wagon-ship);
- Organization of transportation and accumulation of own rolling stock;
- Parking of empty own wagons on tracks of agreed stations, etc.
In addition, prices for performing works and services related to freight transportation, provided by JSC Ukrzaliznytsia to other business entities at free prices and developed by regional branches of Ukrzaliznytsia according to actual service producer price indices (SPPI) broken down by industry codes for the first quarter of 2025 (compared to the previous quarter), will also change.
This mainly concerns provision of elevated track for unloading wagons by forces and means of the recipient, siding warehouses, and temporary use of sites (only for elevated tracks) in the regional branches Lviv Railway, Odessa Railway, and Donetsk Railway.
