Almost four and a half million tons of grain are blocked in Ukrainian ports through closed sea lanes amid a full-scale Russian military invasion.

He called for the resumption of Ukrainian food supplies to other countries in order to alleviate the global food crisis, since many countries depend on Ukrainian wheat supplies.

Rising prices and supply disruptions have jeopardized the food situation in the Middle East, Africa and parts of Asia. The population is constantly malnourished and where millions of people survive on the bread they receive from subsidies and cheap noodles.
