Zaporizhzhia region

Over the past day, the Russian forces carried out 618 strikes on 18 settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region, as reported by the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, Ivan Fedorov.

According to him, Russian forces conducted nine airstrikes on Stepnohirsk, Zaliznychne, Uspenivka, Solodke, and Poltavka. A total of 411 UAVs of various types (mostly FPV) attacked Malokaterynivka, Komyshuvakha, Bilenke, Novoukrainka, Chervonodniprovske, Prymorske, Stepove, Hulyaipole, Novodanylivka, Mala Tokmachka, and Charivne. Three multiple rocket launcher attacks targeted the areas of Novoyakovlivka, Novoandriivka, and Poltavka. There were also 195 artillery strikes on Prymorske, Stepove, Hulyaipole, Novodanylivka, Mala Tokmachka, and Charivne.

According to the report, 26 notifications were received regarding damaged houses, vehicles, and infrastructure facilities.

In the Polohy district of the Zaporizhzhia region, a police officer was injured as a result of a drone attack.

Dnipropetrovsk region

The Russian forces attacked areas of the Dnipropetrovsk region overnight. In Kryvyi Rih, energy infrastructure was damaged. This was reported by the acting head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, Vladyslav Haivonenko.

According to him, the Russians once again carried out a massive drone attack on the Dnipropetrovsk region during the night. Air defense forces shot down 22 UAVs, but unfortunately, there were hits.

The Russian forces also struck the Nikopol district, using artillery and FPV drones. Nikopol and the Pokrovska community came under fire.

“Two women were injured; they will be treated at home. Four private houses, three apartment buildings, and a car were damaged,” Haivonenko specified.

He also added that yesterday evening, according to updated information, an 84-year-old woman was injured in the Nikopol district due to Russian shelling. She received medical assistance and will undergo outpatient treatment. A private house caught fire as a result of the attack.

Donetsk region

On October 16, Russian forces injured nine residents of the Donetsk region, according to the head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, Vadym Filashkin.

Filashkin emphasized that the total number of victims of Russian aggression in the Donetsk region — 3,689 killed and 8,338 injured — does not include data from Mariupol and Volnovakha.

Sumy region

Over the past day, 46 settlements in the Sumy region came under Russian fire, and 3 people were injured.

"Over the past day, Russian forces continued shelling the territory of the Sumy region. A total of 46 settlements came under fire, and 177 explosions were recorded.

The Russian forces used various types of weapons: aerial bombs, drones, multiple launch rocket systems, artillery, and mortars. As a result of these attacks, people were injured, and residential buildings, vehicles, and farm structures were damaged, the statement said.

In the Krasnopillia community, two men aged 56 and 58 were injured in a drone attack. A car and a milk tanker were damaged. In the Znob-Novhorodske community, a farm building was destroyed. In the Mykolaiv community, a private residential building was damaged. In the Hlukhiv community, a residential house and a farm structure were damaged. In the Buryn community, a private household was damaged.

Kherson region

In the Kherson region, one person was killed and 11 others, including a child, were injured over the past day as a result of Russian aggression. This was reported by Oleksandr Prokudin, head of the Kherson Regional State Administration.

Kherson, Antonivka, Sadove, Zelenivka, Inzhenerne, Prydniprovske, Komyshany, Bilozerka, Stanislav, Sofiivka, Shyroka Balka, Tomyna Balka, Dniprovske, Rozlyv, Oleksandrivka, Kizomys, Romashkove, Chaikyne, Daryivka, Poniativka, Mykilske, Novotiagynka, Tokarivka, Beryslav, Vysoke, Novooleksandrivka, Kostyrka, Dudchany, Mala Oleksandrivka, Burhunka, Kachkarivka, Lvivove, Mylove, Mykhailivka, Odradokamianka, Chervonyi Maiak, Vesele, and Kozatske were subjected to enemy drone terror, airstrikes, and artillery shelling.

7 apartment buildings, 8 private houses, medical and educational institutions, a church, a bank office, a farm structure, and private vehicles were damaged.

According to Prokudin, one person was killed and 11 others were injured as a result of Russian aggression, including one child.

In Kherson, Russian forces struck rescuers who were extinguishing a fire caused by a drone attack.
