President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky and First Lady Olena Zelenska began their official visit to Austria with a meeting with Austrian President Alexander Van der Bellen and First Lady Doris Schmidauer.
Following the joint meeting, Zelensky and Van der Bellen will hold one-on-one and extended talks to discuss continued support for Ukraine, deeper cooperation in various sectors, and the participation of Austrian businesses in the post-war reconstruction of Ukraine.
The leaders will focus on humanitarian demining, energy restoration, food security, and the construction of shelters.
A separate focus of the talks will be the return of Ukrainian children who were illegally deported and forcibly relocated by Russia. They will also discuss continued medical treatment, rehabilitation, and recovery programs for children.
