Romanian farmers have ended the blockade of truck traffic in front of the border checkpoint 'Vicovu de Sus,' opposite the Ukrainian checkpoint 'Krasnoilsk.'
This information was reported by the press service of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine (SBGS).
"Passage of all vehicles is carried out in normal mode," the statement said.
Border guards reminded that at the 'Krasnoilsk' checkpoint, the Ukrainian-Romanian border can only be crossed by empty freight vehicles.
Recall that Romanian farmers began the blockade of the Ukrainian border on January 13. They suspended the blockade twice while awaiting the results of negotiations with the government.
The blockade of the 'Vicovu de Sus' checkpoint, opposite the Ukrainian 'Krasnoilsk' checkpoint, resumed on January 15.
On January 18, the Romanian government prepared a package of measures aimed at assisting the protesting farmers and carriers who are blocking the border with Ukraine.
